In PC world they dominate the power-users. Given their visionary concept once met the man who wrote it their concept is still valid. I build Giga Machines for clients all the time that have fully Mac Studios. They are using the application, not the computer.
The bummer for them and me since single core processors are getting harder and harder to find is that Giga will only take advantage of ONE core, and has real problems on multi processor or multi core machines. I hope this fix all this My Studio.
You seem to be very absolute about what you use and what not. I can't think of anyone who "hates PCs so damn much" they would not use a tool that only runs on them. Obviously YMV but I think today you should be able to use both equally well. Like it or not, it was enough to turn me to a Mac based sampler. You can rationalize all ya want, but it was a pain-in-the-ass enough for me to find a Mac solution.
So, at least there's one lost customer and I wanted it to work, I tried, I bought I sold. Call it what you want, but the results speak for themselves. If you want to prove me wrong and there's been signficant improvements, feel free to set our studio up with a turnkey system to Beta test and if it works, we'll buy it.
